The Bishops of Florida are rallying people around the state to pray for nine days leading up to February 7th.

Representatives from the Diocese of St. Petersburg will be attending the National March for Life on January 19.

The Catholic Ministry Appeal that supports more than 25 different ministries, charities, and programs throughout our five-county diocese has launched for 2024.

Catholic Charities serves nearly 1,000 children through the programs and services they offer and with your help, will deliver hope and joy to these children this Christmas.

Bikes from the Heart collects used bicycles, refurbishes them to working order, and delivers them to those in need.

Parish representatives were recognized by Bishop Parkes for their dedication, including a married couple who provide meals to hungry teenagers each week.

"Jesus having chosen from the different peoples, and different experiences, bringing them into his fold, teaches us a lesson on unity and diversity,” said Father Peter Okojie.

The Catholic Ministry Appeal has exceeded $8.8 million in commitments and 25 of our 80 parishes and missions met or exceeded their individual goal.
