Catholic Camp Planning for the Summer

It is almost camp season! Around the Diocese of St. Petersburg, there are various Catholic camp opportunities this summer! Your child doesn’t have to be Catholic to attend.

These camps can help your child make new friends, have fun, and learn something new each day.

Catholic summer camps also help children develop a deeper relationship with God, as the camps offer prayer and Mass as part of their activities.

Below is a list of camp programs offered in the Diocese of St. Petersburg.

Camp Name: Our Lady of Good Counsel Camp

Format: Overnight/Residential
Ages: 7-15
Location: Floral City (Citrus County)
Dates: June 9-July26
Activities: Archery, boating, swimming, sports, low ropes, arts & crafts, and more.

Camp Name: Camp Mary Help
Operated by: Mary Help of Christians Parish
Format: Day Camp
Ages: 5-15
Location: Tampa (Hillsborough County)
Dates: June 10-July 26
Activities: Swimming, sports, water activities, petting zoo, games, and more.

Camp Name: Saint Leo Summer Camp
Operated by: Saint Leo Catholic University
Format: Day Camp
Ages: 4-18
Location: St. Leo (Pasco County)
Dates: June 3 – July 12
Activities: Robotics, sports, art, music, writing, swimming, tumbling, and more.
