With a long history of serving and educating the nation’s military, veterans, and their families, Saint Leo University recently was recognized by U.S. Veterans Magazine as a Veteran-Friendly Yellow Ribbon Program school.

The Saint Leo University community gathered Thursday, August 28, for the annual Mass of the Holy Spirit, hosted by the Benedictine Monks of Saint Leo Abbey, in order to ask for the Holy Spirit’s blessing and guidance for the new academic year.

The university welcomed more than 850 incoming students while returning students will arrive Saturday and Sunday (August 23-24). Classes begin on Monday, August 25.
