Celebrating Saints and Community While Giving Back

St. Timothy Catholic Church in Lutz offers an opportunity to celebrate saints while giving back to those in need. They will be hosting the St. Timothy Parish Festival on January 23 and 24, celebrating their patron and legacy of the parish with faith, family, and fellowship.

Originating as the parish’s annual Fall Festival, over time it has shifted into a smaller January event that is just as impactful. Noticing the opportunity to host this festival close to the Feast of Saints Timothy and Titus on January 26, it became an obvious choice for a new time of year for the event.

At St. Timothy, there is a parish culture of tithing and helping that goes beyond formal events. Each year, they adopt another parish community in need and contribute a portion of their overall revenue to that community. This year, they adopted Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Tampa in response to the parish’s need for support and assistance.

All net revenue from the parish festival will also go to Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
