Sixth graders from Catholic schools across the Diocese of St. Petersburg spent time at Saint Leo Benedictine Abbey recently to experience a day of praying for and learning about vocations.

The Diocese of St. Petersburg is taking up a collection for Catholic sisters, brothers and religious order priests—collectively known as women and men religious—have selflessly served for decades.

“During this week, the Church gives thanks to God for the faithful example of husbands and wives, and joyful witness of ordained ministers and consecrated persons."
