Today we learn about Father Patrick Rebel, who was on ordained on May 18, 1985. He currently serves as pastor at St. Joan of Arc Parish in Spring Hill.

All are invited to participate in the Abundance Holy Hour for Vocations on February 26, 2025, at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle at 6:30pm. Young adults are also welcome to join for a social gathering afterward.

Focus 11, a four-day event put on by the Office of Vocations from December 3-6, 2024 at Saint Leo University, helps to encourage young people to consider God’s plans for their lives.

“I never could have imagined that I would be where I am today,” Bishop Parkes said when reflecting on his 25 years of priesthood.

In addition to four DOSP seminarians who graduated, a priest from our diocese was also the commencement speaker.

Father Chuck Dornquast, Director of Vocations for the Diocese of St. Petersburg, will appear on two episodes of the EWTN series, Life on the Rock.

The Chrism Mass is a sign of unity among all clergy and the faithful.

Three Diocese of St. Petersburg seminarians participated in a mission trip to the Dominican Republic recently: Louis Candelaria, Matthew Fulton and Michael Santos.

Monsignor Cippel has been in “retirement” from official pastoral assignments since the age of 73, but he shows no signs of slowing down.

The event will start with Mass celebrated by Bishop Parkes. Refreshments and lunch are included.
