Whether we realize it or not, we all have certain priorities in life. Some matters are more important to us than others. In today’s Gospel, Jesus clearly says, “You shall love the Lord Your God with all your heart.” Mark 12:30

I recently read a quote from Mother Teresa of Calcutta during my spiritual reading: “We can’t do great things, only small things, with great love.” Her life was rooted in God's love, which enabled her to encounter all people with joy on a daily basis.

Is wholehearted love for God the highest priority in my life? Am I ready to create a deeper relationship with God that radiates others?

Heavenly Father, without Your love, our deeds are worth nothing. Send Your Holy Spirit and fill our hearts with the gift of love so that we may serve you always with great love. Amen.
