Live in Love
"‘Sir, leave it for this year also, and I shall cultivate the ground around it and fertilize it." (Luke 13:1-9)
"‘Sir, leave it for this year also, and I shall cultivate the ground around it and fertilize it." (Luke 13:1-9)
Rather, living the truth in love, we should grow in every way into him who is the head, Christ, from whom the whole Body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, (Ephesians 4:7-16)
Today’s scriptures are a powerful invitation to work for the building of the Kingdom of Heaven. To live our baptismal call to holiness in the grace of the Sacraments of our Catholic Church.
To live in love, in the forgiveness of sins, and to work tirelessly in reciprocal gratitude for all we have received seems to be the fruits that would be pleasing to Our Lord in today’s Gospel.
The Eucharist is our sustaining power. Looking at others through the light of the Blessed Sacrament and embracing them into the Body of Christ is our dedication to discipleship.
This is the most important task we have to live for to bring others into the gift of Christ’s life. Receiving daily Eucharist is the greatest grace of my life, it is to be shared so others may ascend in their daily duties, living in the LOVE OF God found in the Eucharist.
The Words of Jesus to Saint Faustina seem to resonate the message we are to emulate from today's scriptures.
My daughter, I too came down from heaven out of love for you; I lived for you, I died for you, and I created the heavens for you. (Diary 853)
Are we descending to others to help them ascend to all they have been created to be?
“Let us go rejoicing to the house of the Lord” Amen. (Psalm 122)
