God Will Fulfill

"I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly." (John 10:10)

Living life abundantly is the gift of Jesus.  Abundance in living means that we will want for nothing in our earthly life or our eternal life in heaven.  Have you ever noticed people who seem to have everything yet are unhappy?

So everything this world can give us can’t be the stuff that fulfills us.  And then have you met people who seemed to struggle daily, wondering when the next meal would come?  And yet they are happy.  Somehow, they know the Good Shepherd will provide for them.

We can be sure that God’s abundance is ours because Jesus laid down His life for us.  As though creation is not enough, God knew we could only have His life every day by giving up what was most precious to Him, the life of His Own Son.  After such a gift, how could God refuse to give “only good things to those who ask.”

What area of your life is not fulfilled?  Do you really believe God wants you to continue living like this?”  Confront that area and ask Jesus to be the Door that opens up His Father’s abundance for you.

No longer look for this world’s goods and fame to fulfill you, but in Jesus find that pasture where God can meet every one of your needs. That pasture is very near to your heart. Go there and receive what only God, your loving Father, can give you.

What area of your life is not fulfilled? Do you really believe God wants you to continue living like this?

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for providing everything I need today and for eternal life. Amen.
