BROADCAST
A :30 commercial has been produced that will air on Spectrum Cable from March 24, 2023-April 8, 2023. It will air approximately 300 times on various channels, including Bay News 9, Hallmark, Hallmark Movie Channel, and Food Network, garnering almost 240,000 impressions.
The ad was filmed at St. Paul Catholic Church in St. Petersburg and features local Catholics walking on the parish/school campus and then entering the church to bless themselves at the baptismal font. The ad also features Bishop Gregory Parkes elevating the host as seen during the celebration of Mass.
The ad invites viewers to direct their mind and heart to God, especially because we are entering into the holiest of days.
The commercial will be seen in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Citrus and Hernando counties.
TARGETING MILLENIALS
The Diocese is also partnering with Grow Catholic to run an ad campaign on Facebook and Instagram that targets millennials. In order to increase the effectiveness of these ads and reduce their cost, many variations have been created using more than ten images and videos, in English and Spanish. Facebook and Instagram's software shows the best performing ads to the most people. These ads primarily reach people on their mobile devices and leads them to a listing of parishes in the Diocese of St. Petersburg, where they can find Mass times and links to parish websites.
YOUTUBE
The :30 ad has also been posted to YouTube and is being advertised to people in West Central Florida. People will see the ad when viewing related videos with the hope of catching their interest.
