In January, the 2025 Catholic Ministry Appeal was launched. With a $9.5 million goal, the Appeal will provide direct support to a variety of ministries. The goal for the appeal is divided between all parishes and missions of our diocese. The hope is for all parishes to reach and exceed their goals, so that all ministries may grow to meet the needs of our communities.

Parish leaders have spent the last few months planning and diligently working to complete recommended activities and run a successful and positive active phase. And now, the first two parishes have officially exceeded their individual goals.

Early reports are positive with more than $5 million committed. Across the diocese, nearly 13,000 households have made a commitment. These gifts will fund efforts that assist others in encountering God and nurturing their spiritual life, embracing God’s call to serve, and accompanying our missionary disciples.

Congratulations Prince of Peace in Sun City Center and St. Theresa in Spring Hill for surpassing goal in record time! We ask for prayers for our other parishes as we work together to achieve our total appeal goal of $9.5 million!
