The March begins at Pioneer Park, located at Central Avenue & Beach Drive in St. Petersburg at 9:00 a.m.

Participants will walk about half a mile to St. Petersburg City Hall, located at 175 5th Street North, to hear speakers and to pray. Bishop Parkes will speak in front of City Hall at 10 a.m.

This local March for Life coincides with the National March for Life in Washington D.C. and the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in 1973. 

On June 24, 2022, Roe was overturned, but advocates are concerned that states, including Florida, could approve pro-abortion constitutional amendments that would allow abortion up until birth, including when the baby is capable of feeling pain.
