New School Opening

St. Thomas Aquinas Academy is a new independent Catholic school in the Diocese of St. Petersburg opening this school year that provides families with a faithfully Catholic and classical education in which students encounter the richness and beauty of the Catholic intellectual, spiritual, and artistic tradition. The school is located on the campus of St. Patrick’s Church in South Tampa, and will begin each school day with the parish's 8:30 daily Mass. The mission of St. Thomas Aquinas Academy is to be "a community of joyful disciples cultivating saints to serve Christ and His Church by forming young people in faith, wisdom, and virtue through the Catholic liberal arts tradition." The school is governed by a lay board and led by Head of School Erin Miller, who has 25 years of experience as an educator and administrator. Mrs. Miller most recently served as Assistant Principal at Espiritu Santo Catholic School in Safety Harbor.
