This year, the Catholic Diocese of Saint Petersburg is making it easier for families to find a Church to celebrate Easter Mass through an eye-catching billboard campaign.
Beginning this week, drivers will see billboards as part of a media campaign to show families where to find a Catholic church. This is part of the Diocese of Saint Petersburg’s Pastoral Plan titled “A Call to Conversion: Courageously Living the Gospel,” which was launched in 2025.
Goal #9.2 of this plan states, “The Pastoral Center, in collaboration with parishes and schools, will create a broad, multi-faceted effort to invite people to Mass, participate in the sacraments, and engage or re-engage with the Church.”
These billboards remind people in the area that they are welcome in our pews and that they can find true hope in Christ. Our digital images will show Jesus extending a hand with the message “He is Risen! Hope is here.” The vinyl images show a woman praying in a church with the message “Rough week? We are open Sundays!”
The messages are clear and inspirational, demonstrating that Christ is our hope and the Church is a place of welcome.
These billboards will be located throughout the Tampa Bay area. Below are the dates and specific locations of these billboards:
