Five-Figure Gift is a Blessing for Hurricane Victims in the Tampa Bay Area

News Release

Bishop Gregory Parkes announced that the Andrew P. Caneza Family Foundation has donated $50,000 to the Diocese of Saint Petersburg Disaster Relief Fund to assist in post-hurricane recovery efforts.

Andrew Caneza was a man of faith and family. He and his wife Ann belonged to Annunciation Parish, in the Diocese of Orlando, for 40 years. They are the founders of Spice World. In 2004, they established a foundation to give back to the community. A representative from the Foundation reached out to Bishop Parkes to find out how they could help after seeing reports of the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene. Their generous gift will assist with the rebuilding and cleanup efforts following the storms that have devastated parts of our area.

Please join us in thanking the Caneza Family for their generous contribution to the Diocesan Disaster Relief Fund.

The Diocese of Saint Petersburg has a long history of assisting in recovery efforts following a hurricane or other natural disaster. If you would like to help your neighbors who have found themselves in desperate need due to unforeseen, and often tragic circumstances, the Diocese of Saint Petersburg invites you to make a gift to assist those in need. Click here to donate.
