Volunteers are Needed at St. Raphael Catholic Church Neighborhood Clean-Up

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, St. Raphael Parish in St. Petersburg is gathering people and supplies to assist neighbors in need.

When: Saturday, September 28th, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Where: Meet at 8:30 a.m., at St. Raphael Parish, 1376 Snell Isle Blvd N.E., St. Petersburg, Caverly Hall

What: Individuals are asked to volunteer and bring supplies such as large trash bags, wet-vacs, fans, brooms/dust bins, hand trucks, carts to move heavy objects, paper towels, cleaning supplies, gloves, masks, and bottled water.

Why: St. Raphael Parish is located on Snell Isle, an area that experienced storm damage from Hurricane Helene. Father Curtis Carro is helping to organize the event and he said, “We are in this together!”
