This is a wonderful way to get your kids excited about visiting local churches and a chapel designated as special places of pilgrimage across the five counties of the Diocese of Saint Petersburg for the Jubilee Year.

To participate, simply print the paper-cut-out image of Bishop Parkes inspired by the popular Flat Francis, a 2015 campaign to raise awareness for Catholic missionary efforts. Take the image with you on a pilgrimage and snap some selfies. Whether you’re standing in front of stunning stained glass or lighting candles, include your cut-out bishop and share your moments on social media using #FlatBishop. You can also email a photo to communicate@dosp.org.(Parental consent to share the image diocesan-wide is given when the hashtag is used or a photo is emailed to the Diocese of Saint Petersburg.)
