National Vocation Awareness Week Offers Opportunity for Adoration

During this important time in the Catholic Church, the Diocese of Saint Petersburg Office of Vocations and Elisheba House are offering a special prayer opportunity for vocations. All are invited to attend Adorare November 6-7, 2025, at Our Lady’s Chapel at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle. Adorare offers 40 hours of adoration and prayer for vocations.
Adorare Schedule:
Thursday, November 6
8:15 a.m. –– Opening Mass
9:00 a.m. –– Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. –– Silent Adoration
7:00 p.m. –– Spanish Hour
9:00 p.m. –– Overnight Silent Prayer Begins
Friday, November 7
8:15 a.m. –– Daily Mass
9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. –– Daily Mass (in Cathedral)
12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. –– Silent Adoration
7:00 p.m. –– Mass with Fr. Xavy
8:00 p.m. –– Praise and Worship
9:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. –– Silent Adoration
12:00 a.m. (midnight) –– Benediction and closing

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) refers to National Vocation Awareness Week as a “week-long celebration of the Catholic Church in the United States dedicated to promoting vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, and consecrated life through prayer and education, and to renew our prayers and support for those who are considering one of these particular vocations.”
