Join Bishop Parkes in Remembering the Faithful Departed

All are welcome to attend a special Mass on Monday, November 2, 2026, at 10:00 am, at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (10668 E Sligh Ave, Seffner).

Catholics celebrate the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls’ Day) on November 2nd each year. This is a time to reflect and pray for deceased loved ones as well as all who have died.

Praying for those who have passed is something all are called to do often, but this day begins a month dedicated to praying for the Holy Souls in Purgatory and the faithful departed.

The Catholic Church believes that bodies of the dead must be treated with dignity and respect and burying the dead is a Corporal Work of Mercy. Since 2024, Resurrection Catholic Cemetery has provided the area with a holy and sacred place to bury loved ones.
