The Diocese of Saint Petersburg is raising funds for an outstanding cause on #GivingTuesday.
#GivingTuesday is a worldwide movement to encourage good people to do good and make an impact on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, December 3rd, as a direct push back against the growing consumerism of the holidays.
This #GivingTuesday, you can Give Back and Make an Impact by supporting our Community Impact Grant Program.
Our diocese hasn’t participated in about 10 years, but this year we are using all funds raised on #GivingTuesday to support our Community Impact Grant Program. In 2024 we awarded 29 grants totaling $123,000 to 29 of our parishes, schools, and outreach efforts of our faith community. These amazing outreach ministries courageously live the Gospel in one or more of the following categories:
- Serving Christ by Serving Others
- Youth & Young Adult Initiatives
- Evangelization & Missionary Discipleship
Our goal is to raise $200,000 through #GivingTuesday so we can double the number of grants awarded in 2025. With your help, we can MAKE AN IMPACT across the Bay Area!
