February 21, 2023 | In response to multiple requests for a dispensation from the obligation of abstinence from meat on Friday, March 17, 2023 (Optional Memorial of St. Patrick), Bishop Parkes has announced that a General Dispensation from this obligation has been granted for members of the faithful in the Diocese of St. Petersburg. Below is a copy of the Decree of Dispensation.
